The most widely deployed mobile virtualization solution
Across the mobile ecosystem, the players are ramping up investments around 4G planning and roll out, and around LTE in particular. As 4G world quickly approaches, I see more and more debate around LTE. The promise of LTE is tantalizing, but always-on, high bandwidth mobile places new demands not just on infrastructure, but on handset and chipset technology as well.
The LTE rollout will benefit greatly from the coincidental availability of multi-core mobile silicon, with additional compute power being used to enable concurrent bidirectional high speed data streams on 4G handsets.
It is clear to me that OK Labs mobile virtualization is the solution to face these challenges. Mobile virtualization offers the ideal mix of flexibility, performance and security to meet these pressing LTE performance requirements, efficiently managing multicore silicon resources and making them available to all types of mobile compute loads -- baseband, multimedia, and applications processing.
And, unlike the ad hoc use of multicore being pursued by some embedded OS vendors, OK Labs mobile virtualization scales seamlessly, from today's single core 3G handsets up through 2x, 3x, 4x designs and beyond, to help handset OEMs, operators and end users fully realize the potential of 4G telephony and data services.
We'll be at 4G World this year, talking about LTE and some exciting announcements of our own. If you plan to be 4G world, let's meet. Send me an email at karry@ok-labs.com and I'd be happy to chat with you.
