Carl Nerup

Carl Nerup – high tech junkie, trusted industry advisor, and outdoor adventure enthusiast – is responsible for OK Labs global business development, including strategic initiatives, partnerships, and alliances. A communications industry veteran, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the leadership team with demonstrated successes in mobile/wireless and Cloud computing.

Prior to OK Labs, Carl served AT&T as Vice President, Strategic Business Development and Venture & Equity Portfolio Management, identifying lucrative opportunities, leveraging emerging high tech, and driving more than $100 million in revenue. As Managing Director of Digital Island, Carl led new market development and grew revenue through identification, recruitment, and on-boarding of strategic alliances with system integrators. Earlier, Carl helped launch team Aerial Communications, providing GSM services across North America. 

As Executive in Residence at Carnegie Mellon, Carl works with the Quality of Life Technology Foundry to develop and grow large new business at start-ups, not-for-profits, and Fortune 500 enterprises. 

Carl attended the United States Naval Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science from Seattle University. He also received a degree in Data Communication from the University of Washington.
