Open Kernel Labs Technical Director, Abi Nourai, will be participating in a panel for "Effectively Building and Maintaining an Open Source Community" at Open Source in Mobile World (OSiM) in Berlin, Germany.

As an emerging company, OK Labs looks to the leaders in community development while establishing their own best practices. Nourai will discuss the learnings gained from community leaders and the practices that OK Labs has adopted, including fast response time, encouraging user-generated content, launching OK GeekTV, providing how-to documents, opening a forum and wiki, hosting meet-ups around the world, and supporting a thriving developer mailing list.

Nourai joins fellow panelists; Jim Zemiln - The Linux Foundation, Ralph Mueller - Eclipse, Petri Rasanen - The Finish Centre for Open Source Solutions, and Dave Neary - GNOME.
