About the Presentation

In today’s global economy, the domestic market is often insufficient to sustain a small business. Especially in the high-tech sector, you either have a world market, or you have no market at all. This is a considerable challenge for a small enterprise, which may be competing with large, entrenched players but cannot afford sales offices in four continents. Open Source can be an effective way of levelling the playing field; creating visibility without a large marketing budget, and building customer relationships without a large sales force.
